Public Health Internships
Eligibility Requirements
Purpose
The Public Health Development International (PHD International) Public Health Internships are intended to provide career development opportunities in public health practice, research, and administration of public health programs, through the development of health care publications, development of community health and international health programs, healthcare professions development programs, clinical research public health and medical/health writing for journal submission.
Eligible applicants must be:
(i) A undergraduate or graduate student completing a degree in public health, health education, or an area of the health sciences (or pre-professional health studies) or in any academic discipline (including marketing, information systems, drama, English, education) who are interested in supporting public health programs
(ii) An academic faculty and/or established public health professional who possesses a graduate degree in health science or related field.
(iii) Current Federal Government employees and Federal Government
(iv) Able to dedicate a minimum of 15 hours per week (not to exceed 40 hours per week)
